From the day the lockdown started, the number of beds has increased three times! Most of the girls who used to work in the office for a long time now have to do office work because they have to work from home. On the other hand, those who are homemakers, their work has also increased because every member of the family stays at home all the time, so it keeps on working. Naturally, the impression of fatigue on the face! Due to the fact that the parlor is closed, there is no opportunity to get a little facial! As a result, the face is getting darker and darker under the pressure of ink, acne, blackheads!
But why wait for a parlor to open when you have the means right at your fingertips? Rather take some free time at home and do the facial yourself! Trust me, it’s not that difficult at all, and you don’t need a lot of stuff to do a facial at home. Rather, you will get great results with just a few simple kitchen ingredients! The skin will be refreshed and the mind will be strengthened by looking at yourself in the mirror! Just need some simple natural ingredients at hand! Let’s see!
This is the first step of the facial. Choose a cleanser that suits your skin type. Rinse your face with lukewarm water and clean your face with a cleanser. You can choose honey to clean your face. Honey’s moisture will keep your skin soft and supple. Apply honey on wet face and massage for a minute and wash off. It is suitable for all skin types.
Now it’s time to remove the dead cells from the skin. If you have normal skin, mix one teaspoon of oatmeal powder with one teaspoon of honey and one teaspoon of olive oil to make a scrub. If the skin is dry, mix a spoonful of sugar with honey and olive oil. And for oily skin, you have to mix a spoonful of water with honey and sugar! Apply to the face and gently rub away all the dead cells. But do not rub too hard! It can damage the skin.
Boil water in a wide pot. Then put a towel over your head and lean over the bowl of water so that the steam hits your face. Steam like this for five to seven minutes. If you want, you can mix the essential oil of your choice in the water, the skin will get extra freshness.
The function of the mask is to nourish the skin. Honey for normal skin, sour curd pack, half ripe banana and honey for dry skin, multani mati and honey pack for oily skin works very well. Apply it evenly all over the face and lie quietly with your eyes closed for half an hour. You can cut cucumber slices and press them on the eyes, or soak a cotton ball in rose water and press them. Both skin and eyes will be soft. After half an hour, wash off the mask with cold water.
Now it’s time to close the open pores and for that you need toner. Mix half a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar with a teaspoon of water and wipe the face with a cotton ball. Apple cider vinegar will keep the pH balance of the skin intact. Cucumber juice is also a very good toner, it also keeps the skin soft. You can also wash your face with cold ice water instead of apple cider vinegar or cucumber juice, but you will not get any additional benefits.
This is the last step of the home facial. You can apply a ready-made moisturizer that suits your skin. And if you want to apply homemade moisturizer, owners of normal skin should apply half a teaspoon of olive oil or almond oil. If you have dry skin, apply coconut oil or argan oil. And if the skin is oily? In that case you need jojoba oil or a spoonful of aloe vera gel!
All the rules you follow after having a facial at the parlor should be followed during home facials as well. Do not apply makeup immediately after the facial. Before you sit down for a facial, keep everything close at hand so you don’t have to get up again and again. Wash your face if irritation or discomfort starts after applying any material. And most importantly, keep your mind calm while doing the facial. Do the facial in a cool, calm environment. In addition to beautiful skin, you will also get a lot of energy!
